Ive had Shift 2 for awhile now but i havent really touched it for a few weeks
so i thought i would dig it out and have a bit of a slide around Ebisu South Circuit, I didn't really want to go all out in a fast drift car so i opted for the Drift Alliance 240sx just to have some fun in and found that pulling 4th for almost the entire course and flat stick is quite fun.
Ill admit its a Game, and they havent really done a good job of showing South course for what its famously known for an thats its jump, in shift 2 its non-existent.
Anyway here is the video I made up Using Fraps
and as for a reference in regards to the jump here is a video from D1GP of how the course really is!!
Diago Saito and Hibino are crazy!!!
As always stay safe my friends

Old times...New times... different Diff
Ok ok i know it has been awhile between postings again.. I've been slack..
Things have gotten pretty freaking hectic..shit...awesome.. all at the same bloody time and processing it all well lets just say i just nod and agree with myself some of... well ok to be honest nearly all the time..
where do i start.. Well one of my good mates tied the knot with his lovely partner not very long ago at a truly moving and beautiful ceremony out at Sirromet wines, so recently in fact they are still on their honey moon in thailand and im getting pretty bloody jealous over all the awesome photos they keep putting up on facebook!!
LOVE YOU GUYS!!
hahaha
well apart from that there was a long long long Easter holiday/weekend that i spent five awesome days staying at my sisters Rochelle and THE Bro - in law Seans house, it was just awesome.. awesome food.. awesome company well family which a lot of you know means the world to me.
Yatala Drive in theater - Awesome!!! Five Nieces, One Nephew, a Sister, brothers and mum and dad.
We saw Rio, which common its a pretty cool movie about two Blue Macaw's!!! yes i ended up dreaming I owned..... a few we shall leave it at that, Fast five was after and it was my second viewing but sitting in the Silvia with the sub pumping made it even better then the first...
now onto the Shit... angry... RAGE!!! part..
Silvie was reversed into......
Front bar Cracked, Paint cracked and the grill is stuffed :(
No one left any details and I never saw this happen, well if i had done i wouldnt be sitting here typing this i would be in some lockup with my bum presses agaist the wall.
Will now just have to wait till im able to take it back to Camrons to be fixed.
Ok well thats whats new and what has happened with me... apart from one other thing that has happened but we shall leave that in the box.
Well the whole point to this post was because i have had some new old pictures sent to me by THE Bro-in Law Sean.. remember in my last post the old photos i shared of the now dead bluebirds well.. these pictures are from a happier time, back when Scotty had just started BODGE Garage, back when the weekend was free and you had nothing to do and just so happened to have a R200 VLSD that was screaming to be put in so you could spank it hard!! or simply just.. to put the car up on stands to have a look and see what you could tinker with..
well lets just start with the pictures that were took just stuffing around and doing general services..
Beeee warned there maybe photos below of white men looking awfully dark - viewer discretion is advised and i take no responsibility
Please Dont ask.... just don't
What ever it was.... it scared Sean
Maybe it was this 0_o maaayyybeee
Anyway, I had a skidpan day coming up and the old single wheeling r180 just wasnt cutting the dice so i picked up a pretty decent R200 R32 VLSD of my Friend Scotty.. (the one that got married) so sure enough we put it in... myself and Sean.
we use to just look at what we had and figured it out.. well it was a diff swap it wasn't really rocket science but we had fun doing it and i miss those crazy old days, Hell we couldnt find a proper gasket for the diff hat so we made one from cardboard and too this day that diff is still in the back of Silvie and it hasnt leaked one drop of oil.
Old R180 Single spinner out
R200 on the jack, R180 is smaller aye
Man handling the r200 in
Well thats pretty much it, I would like to thank Sean for sending me the pictures, and i would just like to say that Sean!! thank you for all the help you have ever given me and also in advance for any future help as it means the world to me Bro!! and hey when we bring the 180 home im sure there shall be more antics to have hey!!
before i end this i would just like to say - Family and friends are important, they are apart of our everyday lives and are always there to see us at our worst and at are best but regardless of how they see us they still love and respect us for who we are. Dont take them for granted, let them know how you feel and thank them for no particular reason.
Thank you everyone!!!
ohhhh and as always be safe!!!

Lazyness and old memories
Ill have to apologize first as i havent really updated this in a while, and to be honest I've just been A. To tired, B. No motivation and C. i really have nothing to update.
Since we replaced the Bung Silvie has been belting around without missing a beat.. well unless you want to call having to tighten up turbo to manifold nuts every third day an update.... i really must get the exhaust sorted out.
Probably the biggest piece of news I have is that work on project Origin X should be starting in the next few weeks its going to be a bit of a long term project but im hoping to have the car up and running to test out some suspension setups by the end of the year but the biggest thing is to start putting the old girl back together as she at the moment is a stripped rolling shell. That how ever is the perfect base to start with as it will be mainly built for time attack but may see a few drift days and motorkarna days so the interior will be pretty basic as lets face it for a track only car you dont need all the comforts of home.
As soon as i can get down to where we are storing the shell ill take a few pictures and put them up here as this will be the place for all updates on Project Origin X (I wont be doing a build thread on Nissansilvia)
Anyway
My Lovely Mother emails me a few pictures tonight that i would thought i would share.
I also found an email from my brother Damien that had a few photos.
Now if any of you read my very first blog entry I mentioned where my love for Nissan's started.
It all started with the good old gold bluebird (My parents reckon its green :P)

in it are my Nan, Pop and my brother Damien
Now as i said in my first blog entry my Sister ended up writing off the poor old thing and we got her another one which she subsequently seized the engine (Love you Sis)
So here is a picture of the Old Red Bomb.
Im pretty sure its life ended after it was sold and turned into a bush basher.
I havent said anything about this next particular car as it wasnt mine or owned by any of my family members, but it was owned by my best mate Ryan.
Now this poor little Daihatsu copped an absolute beating it was rolled... it was jumped.. it was thrown around a paddock track like a group A Touring car and yet i do believe it still lives out at his parents farm
Yeah we were pretty young but we didnt let that stop us.
Anyway guys.
As always take care and be safe.

Drama Queens and Photo shoots
I Absolutely swear that Silvie has an infinity for pissing me off and just doesn't have the love for the track as she does the street, the second track day its done the same thing and thats blown the freakin blank off rubber on my intercooler piping that blocks where the BOV usually sits (I dont run a blowoff valve).
I Organize a few breakfast seasons where you get to have an awesome breakfast and then get some time out on the track, Day started off pretty good I must admit as I was out at the track and had everyone organized before the breakfast call.
After everyone had breakfast we gave them the run down on the rules and the doo's and donts considering its not a race event cant have people spearing off the track into the sandboxes.
So out we all go some people just drive right in and straight away but i usually do a warm up lap or two, The car felt great very gripy and stable accelerated fine and the brakes where good! So coming around turn six onto the main straight of Queensland Raceway absolutely nail it in third. My Goal of the day was to pull fifth gear down the straight as I've never been able to get out of forth out at QR.
Sure enough third was all over with and then as i got to the tower forth was a little puffed so I pulled fifth and kept it pegged to the fire wall then before I had time to cherish the moment... BANG!!!!! I knew what the source was right away or so I thought, I thought that I had popped a cooler pipe but noooo that would have been to simple to fix as Silvie is a drama queen had to blow out the rubber stopper.
So I limped it back into the pits and the day was over or so I thought, I have said this before and ill say it again I am really really lucky that I have such good friends I really am as Kristen came in and Kate gave up her seat so I could at least get around the track. So Big thanks to both Kristen and Kate :)
The main thing is that all the people that came out had a good morning so that is all the satisfaction that I need to be honest as to not be happy with how it turned out would just be selfish.
Here is a Photo that I'm sure will make Sean happy
After the the event was over I asked my friend Rob if he could do a little photo shoot while we were out at QR so we trunded off in search of a good spot and decided upon one of the big sheds.
I personally think they are Absolutely Awesome pictures of both mine, Nathan's and Kristen's Silvias

Nismo Goodness!! Clutch time
Well after having it for over 8 months and it just sitting there we finally got around to installing my Nismo Super Coppermix HD clutch.
Ok well I try to do most of the work on the car myself with the help of my mates (mainly Nathan/Dave/Scott) but there is just some things that are just easier done at a workshop on a hoist and installing a clutch is just one of those things pulling a gearbox out of the car on the ground? no thank you my brother in law Sean and I did that with my Diff that was a pain in the arse and talk about major case of gorilla arms.
So into East Coast Customs it went these are the only guys that I trust with my car and ill recommend them to anyone - In the past they've done the engine conversion for me, Fixed up the botch manual conversion done by Predator, helped me isolate and fix a few little niggling problems, Robs tuned the car twice (Different turbos) and now have installed my clutch.
The boys do anything!!! From a basic service to major engine conversions to engine tuning they are the real wizards for Japanese Imports and the good ol Aussie Holden!! link on the left but ill chuck one here to
Now enough plugs
The old Exedy that was in the car was a stock replacement clutch and pressure plate that was well past its used by date considering all the red/scarlet clutch dust that was caked everywhere in the bellhousing of the gearbox, pressure plate and behind the flywheel, not only had that had it the poor old standard throw out bearing was really stuffed usually you can hit it with some brake cleaner and it goes kinda quite again but ohhh no not this one still crunchy.
So out it all came to discover the rear main seal on the engine was FUBAR, I honestly wasnt surprised considering the state of the front main seal (Its on the bucket list ok) so that slowed us down as we needed to wait for a new one to rock up.
So once that was all done and in, The new flywheel (lightened Nismo item) was bolted up, Clutch plate and then the pressure plate went in. Done right? nahh not quite with the new Nismo engine mounts the engine wouldnt come back far enough to be able to get the gearbox back on the back of the engine but alas!! Nathan was onto it like a blood hound on to a scent, the stupid clutch master at the top of the engine bay was the wrong item (for CA not SR) so the intake plenum was bashing into.
Lucky that i have such a good mate I honestly wouldn't know where i would be without Nathan being there, I honestly swear the guy could build an S13 out of the spare parts in the back of his falcon, out came a late model SR clutch master and a Nismo Slave on a braided line.
So in that all went and we got the box back on - Done... CLEAR!!!! well we still had to bleed up the clutch system and put a few little bits and pieces back together but the light at the end of the tunnel filled most of the windscreen and then we were out!!! and I cant say how much i love this clutch!!! its so direct and it bites harder then.... well im not going to go there but you get my point.
Here are the pictures that I took along the way.

Well thats now finally sorted!! felt great on the drive home but i still need to let it bed in - engine started to miss and fart and carry on when coming onto boost though but thats something to sort out today, most likely plugs or a vac leak somewhere.
Oh and before i go i wondered downstairs this morning to find this
Another sticker to add to the car!!!
Ok Stay safe people

Slow sundays Computer Games, stickers and Awesome Weather
What can i say? its been a slow uneventful Sunday, woke up around 9:30-10 and decided i better do something about well lets just say living and tidiness.so i ended up doing a full load of washing (i never knew i had that many clothes!!!) and decided to clean my room.
It came out alright i think.. well that was the morning, well like i said slow sundays two episodes of Smallville season one and two computer games later. boredom set in and that sucks because i remember when i was younger i could sit and play games for hours upon hours and now.. im lucky to sit here and put an hour in.
But that depends upon the game i guess, Far Cry 2 was first and i must say i really doesnt deserve that name! they could have gone a completely different direction with it and used the original characters no some random people in some random remote part of Africa.
Second up was Test Drive Unlimited 2, now I must say that I am enjoying it more then the first, but the driving physics are still something to be desired, well quite a lot but thats coming from playing Grand Turismo 5 and Forza Motorsport 3. For instance one of the first champion ships you are limited to FWD P.O.S cars like the Gold GTI and some Alfa Romeo you turn into a corner and you have two options keep your foot flat and under steer something chronic or lift off and have the back end step out like its a 800hp RWD Silvia its absolutely stupid.
After that I thought i would go out side and Finally change the wiper blades on the Silvia, oh but guess what wrong ones *Faceplam* goddamn i hate it when you ask for something and get reassured that they are right ones for the job and it ends in disaster, well not this time thankfully but that has happened!!!
so with nothing else to do on the Silvia I thought i would try and dwindle down some of the stickers that I have been hording

I only added Three to this side
Finally put on my JDM as F*CK Sticker and a new UNC Sticker
The dash copped it also with even more UNC Love.
To come to think of it I have had an obsession with stickers for quite a long time and to be completely honest I really can not put my finger on where it came from, i remember when i was a kid i had a white chest of draws and i covered that thing from Thomas the Tank Engine stickers to Cummings Trucks.
Anyway during my Sticker fest it started to bloody rain didnt it, so Ive been forced back in side to resort to blogging to alleviate my boredom of a slow Ass Sunday.
Now before I finish this off, We all know about the Eathquake and Tsunami that has devastated Japan and even after the episode it has left a wave of disasters waiting to happen and have happened, such as the Nuclear reactor in Fukushima. I would just like to extended my deepest sympathies towards those effected and those that have lost family members and friends.
Our thoughts are wtih you Japan!
Stay safe all
Bev
